Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I graduated with my MSW degree from Bryn Mawr College in 2023. I specialize in complex trauma and its lasting effects on our emotional, relational, and physical well-being. My approach is rooted in the belief that understanding the why behind our struggles is an important part of creating meaningful, lasting change. I integrate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic therapy to help clients explore the roots of their experiences, process unresolved trauma, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. In our work together, we will move beyond simply managing symptoms to explore the underlying experiences, triggers, and negative core beliefs that may be keeping you stuck.
Throughout the last 10 years, I have worked in a variety of settings, including group therapy, inpatient hospitals, case management settings, and individual therapy. Currently, I provide individual therapy services and facilitate trauma-informed trainings for organizations. These diverse experiences have shaped my understanding of the many ways our histories influence how we show up in the world, navigate relationships, and relate to ourselves. I have a particular interest in working with individuals whose trauma experiences have contributed to patterns of anxiety, shame, people-pleasing, self-criticism, emotional overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from themselves.
My approach to therapy is also informed by my own experiences with healing and personal growth. Experiencing the impact of these approaches in my own life has deepened my appreciation for the process of understanding ourselves, working through old patterns, and creating meaningful change. I believe healing is not about becoming a different person, but about developing a deeper connection with yourself and feeling free to be authentically you.
I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels warm, empathetic, and comfortable, where you can show up as you are without fear of judgment. I believe therapeutic work can coexist with moments of humor, lightness, and ease. Healing doesn't have to mean focusing only on what's difficult; it can also mean discovering new parts of yourself, building self-compassion, and embodying your strengths and resiliency.
Outside of practicing therapy, you will find me spending time with my cats (who sometimes try to join our sessions), getting lost in a good thriller novel, going to music concerts/shows, and being outside enjoying nature.
To schedule a 15-minute free consultation call, I can be reached via email, phone, or the message portal listed in the contact portion of the website. I look forward to connecting and learning more about you!
